 The Halifax Rainmen return home on a winning note downing the Quebec Kebs 90-80 Thursday night in Quebec.
The Rainmen overcame a first quarter deficit to take control of the game and earned their first win of the new season, evening their record at 1-1.
Desmond Ferguson and Tony Bennett led the Rainmen attack with 14 points each, while Gordon Malone was right behind with 13. Eric Crookshanks grabbed 20 rebounds.
The Rainmen now return to Halifax to gear up for their home opener, a rematch against the Kebs Sunday at 2 pm at the Metro Centre.
